"HEISENBERG RESONATES IN YOUR MIND LONG AFTER IT’S OVER. MARY-LOUISE PARKER’s performance is EXPLOSIVE PERFECTION. DENIS ARNDT is RADIANT. HEISENBERG is PROBING, ARRESTING and LIFE-AFFIRMING.” -Ben Brantley, The New York Times
“A TERRIFIC new play, with EXQUISITE DIRECTION by MARK BROKAW.” -New York Magazine

Synopsis

THE NEW YORK TIMES CRITICS’ PICK!

Amidst the bustle of a crowded London train station, Georgie spots Alex, a much older man, and plants a kiss on his neck. This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a fascinating and life-changing game. Directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw (The LyonsHow I Learned to Drive), Heisenberg brings to blazing, theatrical life the uncertain and often comical sparring match that is human connection.

Internationally renowned for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, visionary playwright Simon Stephens returns to the New York stage with this sharply original world premiere starring Denis Arndt (The Night AliveBasic Instinct) and Tony® and Emmy® winner Mary-Louise Parker (Proof, “Weeds”).

Running Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes, with no intermission

Heisenberg was commissioned by Manhattan Theatre Club. Special thanks to The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust for supporting Manhattan Theatre Club.
